data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>GESIME<\/strong> tiene sus or\u00edgenes en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecured.cu\/Ministerio_de_la_Industria_Sideromec%C3%A1nica_(Cuba)\">Ministerio de la Industria Sideromec\u00e1nica (Cuba)<\/a>, de forma abreviada SIME, el cual, surgi\u00f3 como organizaci\u00f3n el 26 de diciembre de 1974. En sus inicios agrup\u00f3 actividades como la siderurgia, la fundici\u00f3n, la producci\u00f3n de maquinarias y piezas de repuesto, adem\u00e1s del desarrollo de la fabricaci\u00f3n de equipos para el transporte, la construcci\u00f3n y la agricultura.<\/p><p>Durante los a\u00f1os 70 y 80, el SIME emprendi\u00f3 un fuerte proceso inversionista de ampliaci\u00f3n y creaci\u00f3n de importantes instalaciones fabriles para producir combinadas de ca\u00f1a, acumuladores, equipos de riego, implementos agr\u00edcolas, electrodom\u00e9sticos, equipos e instrumentos m\u00e9dicos, equipamiento para la biotecnolog\u00eda y la ampliaci\u00f3n de la siderurgia, entre otros.<\/p><p>En la d\u00e9cada del 90, luego del t\u00e9rmino de la cooperaci\u00f3n con el campo socialista, se comenz\u00f3 a trabajar en una estrategia que planteaba, adem\u00e1s de la sustituci\u00f3n de importaciones, convertir al SIME en una organizaci\u00f3n exportadora.<\/p><p>Se inici\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n la producci\u00f3n para el mercado nacional buscando la sustituci\u00f3n de importaciones, produci\u00e9ndose el desarrollo y fabricaci\u00f3n para la industria tur\u00edstica de equipamiento de refrigeraci\u00f3n, para la gastronom\u00eda, perfiles de aluminio, cables el\u00e9ctricos y elevadores. En abril de 1994 se le uni\u00f3 al SIME la rama electr\u00f3nica y la inform\u00e1tica, las que permanecieron hasta el a\u00f1o 2000. En 1997 se le incorpor\u00f3 la actividad de recuperaci\u00f3n de materias primas. El proceso de perfeccionamiento de las estructuras de Gobierno, iniciado en el 2010, apunt\u00f3 a la extinci\u00f3n del Ministerio de la Industria Sideromec\u00e1nica y creaci\u00f3n del Ministerio de Industrias, que atender\u00eda la Industria Sideromec\u00e1nica, la Industria Ligera, la Industria Qu\u00edmica, la Electr\u00f3nica y del Reciclaje.<\/p><p>Se constituye as\u00ed, el 7 de diciembre de 2012 la OSDE denominada <strong>Grupo Empresarial de la Industria Sideromec\u00e1nica<\/strong> para dirigir las actividades de las empresas de los sectores de la industria sider\u00fargica y metalmec\u00e1nica y para contribuir al mantenimiento y desarrollo de la rama industrial en Cuba.<\/p><p>El Decreto 95 de fecha 4 de agosto de 2023 crea la Organizaci\u00f3n Superior de Direcci\u00f3n Empresarial Grupo Empresarial de Aceros y sus Derivados, por lo que la <strong>OSDE GESIME rectora actualmente la actividad del sector metalmec\u00e1nico.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GESIME
