GESIME strengthens ties with industries in Latin America

Exchange between the Minister of Development, Industry and Commerce of Nicaragua, the President of GESIME, members of its Vice Presidency and Directors of Export and Import.
This Tuesday, the top management of GESIME had fruitful exchanges with senior representatives linked to the industries of Mexico and Nicaragua.
The President of the Cuban business group, Reynaldo Luis García, met with members of the Presidency of the National Chamber of Transformation of Mexico, which became a first contact in which the main productions and services of GESIME were presented, as well as the marketed by the Mexican side in order to arrange future collaborations. Likewise, the Minister of Development, Industry and Commerce of Nicaragua was received, with which a meeting was held in which the interest of both parties in continuing trade relations was confirmed . Nicaragua constitutes one of the regions where GESIME suppliers are concentrated, supplying different raw materials based on PVC, polymers, among others for different productions.
At the meeting the Minister also commented on the interest in acquiring equipment mainly for the food industry in his country, through GESIME. Therefore, it was agreed to review from MINCEX the provisions of the agreement between Nicaragua and Cuba, to prepare a proposal on what elements can be exported by GESIME according to the needs of Nicaragua.
