The Heroes Mechanical Company of July 26 in the city of Holguín, with the commercial name Holmeca, was founded on July 27, 1981, for which it reached its 38th anniversary.
Since its inauguration, it has made significant contributions from the repair, reconversion, production and marketing of equipment and implements, as well as spare parts, parts, components and accessories destined for agriculture and the sugar industry mainly. Recently, it has also been inserted in the manufacture of equipment for the local production of construction materials with good results.
