The public transportation service in Ciego de Ávila will benefit in the coming days with the entry into circulation of 15 Paz buses, which although they will not cover the increasing demand, they will contribute to alleviating the movement of passengers in the province.

Manuel Marín Torres, deputy director of operations of the Transportation company in the territory, reported that the buses with Russian technology, assembled in the CAISA Company of Cuba, have a capacity for 46 passengers, 24 of them seated.

He noted that these vehicles undergo documentation, such as technical inspection, sheet metal, circulation and operating license to incorporate them into the transfer of people as soon as possible.

Marín Torres specified that the new acquisition will reinforce the 139 existing routes and will benefit the transport of passengers in the other Avilanian municipalities with the transfer to these territories of several Guaguas Dianas, of the 81 that the province has owned for about five years.
