The Havana International Fair is a favorable space to make Cuban productions known to the international market, establish relationships with potential clients and strengthen ties with existing ones.

With this objective, the presentation of the exportable products and projects of GESIME was held on November 6 at the 37th edition of FIHAV, an activity led by the Director of Exports of GESIME with the support of representatives of the marketing companies of the business group: Acinox Comercial, BK Import-Export, TECNOSIME and DIVEP.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Development, Industry and Commerce of Nicaragua, the First Secretary of the Embassy of Belize, representatives of the Angolan Chamber of Commerce, as well as businessmen from the Latin American and Caribbean region.

GESIME's catalog of exportable products includes items with a broad nomenclature. The steel billet remains as one of the star products and includes those derived from steel, including: flat head nails, staples, barbed and smooth galvanized wire, galvanized and plasticized wire mesh, rectangular voided mesh, E-6013 rutile electrodes, mocha and machetes, anthracite carbon, TW, THW, and THHW copper wires, enameled copper wire, and thermal copper wire.

Varieties of high-quality equipment are incorporated from the metal-mechanical branch, a significant part with uses in the agri-food sector: the milk tank or vertical cooler tank, agricultural implements (leveling blades, triller cultivator, integral disc plow and the ridging furrower light), the 10 t self-tipping tipping trailer, the center pivot irrigation machine and the irrigation systems.

Spare parts for the sugar, construction materials and transportation industries, and idle equipment such as machine tools, electric motors and batteries, are also identified for export.

Aluminum profiles and by-products of this metal are also offered to foreign buyers, as are mechanical and electric bicycles.
While comprehensive exportable projects include those aimed at guaranteeing construction objects from metal structure construction systems, such as industrial warehouses, logistics storage centers, Titan Steel construction systems and modular constructions.

There are also projects that respond to food production such as fruit processing plants, the processing of tubers, the concentrator and refrigerator markets and the sugar cane plant.

Agricultural mechanization includes projects aimed at mounting irrigation systems, farmhouses, among others.
