From today November 28 to tomorrow 29 the II National Conference of the Industries Union is in session. Today it takes place in the CTC's "Lázaro Peña" Theater and tomorrow in the Theater of the National Company of Sports Industries.
The event has the participation of more than 350 delegates and guests from all regions and industrial branches of the country, who will be discussing important aspects of union work and its contribution to the productive drive in Cuban industry.
According to an interview published in Workers, Arturo Rodríguez Font, general secretary of the SNTI, this meeting will be an opportune moment to check the workers' proposals, exposed throughout the process of grassroots assemblies and municipal conferences, held with a view to the magna meeting.
Rodríguez Font added that they are also updated on how the first semester of the year closed in compliance with the objectives and commitments established by affiliates in meetings held in work centers and companies.
Together the objectives and goals of the members of the delegations are exposed, with a view to the final sessions of the II Conference of the National Union of Industries, which brings together more than 122 thousand state and non-state workers.
